The John Alexander Law Firm

From 1978 through 1982, John served as a trial attorney with The Public Defender of Seattle, representing adults and children charged with crimes in the King County Superior Court. As a result, he became an experienced trial attorney early in his professional career, serving as criminal defense counsel in 20 jury trials in 25 months. For these five years John spent some part of every workday in court, either in trial or in various judicial hearings. He represented clients in all 45 King County Superior Courts, as well as in hearings and trials in the Seattle District Court. Today, John appears in all of the Superior Courts of Washington state. Altogether, he has been trial counsel in over 80 jury trials.
Mr. Alexander entered private practice in 1982, focusing since 1984 on the representation of personal injury victims. For several years he was retained by auto insurance companies to represent their insured drivers, affording him valuable knowledge of the thinking and working of insurance companies. John serves as an arbitrator in personal injury cases brought before the Superior Courts of Washington.
John now exclusively represents injured persons and is committed to the task of “leveling the playing field” for his clients in the difficult process of obtaining fair compensation from insurance companies. Knowledge, accessibility, and compassion are important values in his service to his clients.
